World Gold Trust Services, LLC, ("WGTS") is the Sponsor of the Trust. WGTS is a Delaware limited liability company wholly-owned by the World Gold Council ("WGC"). Under the Delaware limited liability law and the governing documents of the Sponsor, the WGC, the sole member of the Sponsor, is not responsible for the debts, obligations and liabilities of the Sponsor solely by reason of being the sole member of the Sponsor.
